I own a 2013 Mercedes E Class saloon W212 E250CDI RHD fitted with NTG4.5 Comand unit.
I want to install your Apple Car Play/Android Auto retrofit unit. I have already energized the AUX input via the Engineering menu but no sound is transmitted from the MMI inside the central control panel to the radio. Most probably the MMI is not connected at the back of the Comand. By fitting your unit will the sound be heard?
In other words is there an Aux socket on your wiring loom that will connect onto the Radio?
Your NTG4.5 unit has wireless/wired Apple Car play, I understand. What about Android Auto? Wireless/wired connection or both?
What about MIRRORING? Is iPhone connection wireless/wired connection or both?
How is mirroring carried out for Samsung Galaxy Note 9? Wireless or wired?
Which program is used for mirroring the Samsung? Samsung’s Smart View, ECLink or Autolink or something else?

1. If it activatied AUX Menu , You can using aux menu
It wire “aux line” is connected with quadlock main harness.
2. It’s supports “wire type” and “wireless” carplay and androud auto
But. We don’t recomend wireless.
It’s not stable.
3. Mirroring
Apple
– Wireless type,
-Airplay (It doesn’t need to extenal apps)
Android auto
– Wire type
– It connected by extenal Mirroring Apps (Autolink apps)
